🔨 Big Moves in Downtown Calgary: Joffre Place Office-to-Residential Conversion is Underway
We’re thrilled to share that Impeccable Interiors is starting work on another major downtown Calgary transformation — the Joffre Place Office-to-Residential Conversion at 708 11 Ave SW.
This project is part of the City of Calgary’s Downtown Development Incentive Program, which is breathing new life into the core by converting vacant office towers into much-needed residential units. With the demand for urban housing on the rise and an excess of outdated office inventory, this shift is helping reshape the city into a more vibrant, livable space — and we’re proud to be a part of it.
🛠️ Our scope of work includes:
-> Full steel stud framing and drywall for all units and shared corridors
-> Fire-rated assemblies to meet code compliance and ensure resident safety
-> Insulation installation for energy efficiency and acoustic performance
-> Contributing to a broader mission of smart, sustainable urban redevelopment
Joffre Place is one of the anchor buildings in this initiative and represents the future of adaptive reuse in construction — turning obsolete commercial real estate into modern, functional residential housing.
